Many people need to read documents on a daily basis, such as e-mails, memos, work plans, sales reports, web pages, and so on. This program helps you to read such documents faster, thus increasing your productivity.
First, you need to open the program, and then, open the document you need to read. It will appear on the main interface of the program as plain text. The program has control buttons akin to those of music and video players. When you click on the "Play" button, the program will open a black screen and will start showing you one word of the text at a time using a huge and brilliant font so you don't need to move your eyes from side to side to read the text. This allows your brain to recognize each word immediately, thus increasing your reading speed.
The default speed at which the program shows each word is of 250 words per minute, but you can increase or decrease it according to your needs. Also, you can pause or stop the playing by clicking on the screen and using the control buttons that appear onscreen.
You can also highlight any part of the text and create notes and bookmarks. In sum, it is a useful program for those persons who need to increase their reading speed. The only disadvantage I found is that the standard, free version does not open PDF files. If this is a problem for you, you can upgrade to the Pro, cost-based version, which you can purchase at the developer's website.
Please note that, although the program is free to download and use, you need to type a valid e-mail address to register your copy and install the program.
